Renowned Director Nick Wickham, internationally revered for Concert Films, Music Documentary, Live to Cinema Theatre and Live Events, celebrates the release of “Norah Jones – Live At Ronnie Scotts” on DVD/Blu-Ray this summer. The special was also an official selection at the Vienna Film Festival screening in July. Wickham directed the special event with Jones playing an exclusive sold-out show at the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.
With a background at MTV and his own company, Splinter Films, Wickham’s work has taken him around the world, collaborating with a huge range of artists in music, theatre and live events including Madonna, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Katy Perry and Metallica. A recent music documentary feature film with Chinese/Hong Kong superstar G.E.M. was released in cinemas across China and South East Asia.

The wonderfully intimate live performance film sees Jones return to the piano, accompanied on stage by drummer Brian Blade and bassist Chris Thomas to form a classic jazz trio. The group play tracks from Jones’ sixth solo album Day Breaks and a selection of hits from her extensive catalogue including the hit singles, “Carry On,” “Flipside” and “Don’t Know Why.”
Wickham also directed the high-octane “Jaguar E-Pace: Guinness World Records™ Barrel Roll,” a riveting documentation of the world-record achieved by Jaguar for an extreme, and successful, attempt at a barrel roll, a feat difficult to achieve by most vehicles.

Wickham continues his streak in 2018, directing special performances by “The Last Poets” in the former residence of Haile Selassie, along with “The Cure” in London’s Royal Festival Hall and a new Live Music series slated for this fall.
