SHOOT 1st Quarter 2020 Top Ten Music Tracks Chart

Sans dialogue and any spoken words, a PSA for the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society relies on music coupled with images to take us through a cancer patient's journey. The eloquence of this accompanying music--from Q Department, New York--helps to create an empathetic tone and feel as we see the gift of a blood transfusion buy her much needed time. Titled "Give Time," this spot, which underscores the pressing need for blood donors, takes the #1 slot in SHOOT's quarterly Top Ten Tracks Chart kicking off 2020.

Also in the first quarter mix of Chart entries are: Direct Line's "Donatello," a tongue-in-cheek look at a superhero arriving too late to do any good as an insurance company beats him to the punch, with music and sound design from Beacon Street Studios and 750mph, respectively; Kaufland's "Fruits of Love" in which a pear does a sultry dance to the tune of Peggy Lee's "Fever," with original music and sound design from Yessian Music; and a Facebook Group "Kazoo" commercial aided and abetted by a score and sound design out of Squeak E. Clean Studios.
