Sound Lounge, a leading audio post-production facility renowned for its excellence, is proud to announce the involvement of multitalented mixer Pete Crimi in the highly acclaimed and Emmy®-nominated series, How To With John Wilson. Set to embark on its much-anticipated third and final season on HBO, Crimi played the pivotal role of supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer, bridging the worlds of commercial and television production in a unique collaboration.

Pete Crimi, Sound Lounge's skillful and talented mixer, has already built an impressive career working with notable brands such as Nike, Amazon, AT&T, and Google, as well as award-winning short films. Among his most notable career highlights were his first HBO credit for season two of How To With John Wilson and his first Super Bowl commercial starring Pete Davidson and NFLer Jerod Mayo for Hellmann’s. Both projects garnered widespread acclaim and marked significant career accomplishments in both the commercial and television worlds.

“Sound Lounge has thriving divisions for commercial, film, television, ADR, and sound design – with the best of the best artists, so I have unique opportunities to experience multiple audio disciplines at a very high level,” explained Crimi. “Now, more than ever, there’s an importance for mixers to be versatile, but you don’t want to be a jack of all trades and master of none. A mixer’s versatility needs to be rooted in deep apprenticeship with masters in their craft, which I am fortunate enough to have access to at Sound Lounge.”

Crimi's talent and flexibility caught the attention of Sound Lounge’s Steve "Major" Giammaria, who is a triple Emmy®-nominee for his outstanding sound work on The Bear and Sesame Street. His remarkable expertise and accomplishments in the industry make his endorsement of Crimi all the more significant. Giammaria emphasized the seamless transition and adaptation Crimi displayed when moving from commercial work to longer-format projects like Roku Channel's series The Fix. After Giammaria supervised Crimi on season two of How To With John Wilson, he was fully confident in him taking over for season three.

“Supervising and mixing a TV show is a large responsibility, but I knew Pete would be up to the task,” said Giammaria. “Pete's ability to adapt to new workflows, maintain outstanding rapport with clients, along with his killer ears and amazing artistic sensibility, made him a perfect fit for the show."

After over a decade at Sound Lounge, Crimi reflects on his experience at Sound Lounge, sharing “looking through a Tom Jucarone commercial session and seeing how he got from prep to delivery could honestly be considered worth more than a college degree. Becoming a Sound Lounge mixer was always my ultimate goal, so accomplishing that has meant everything to me. Being surrounded by so many talented individuals pushes you toward excellence daily and that hasn’t stopped. I’m really proud to be a part of this team and a company with such a long-standing reputation and legacy.”
